Bang Bang Cauliflower

An Ocean Blue fan favorite take on the classic General Tso's Chicken dish that's not just for your vegetarian eaters. Tempura battered cauliflower pieces are paired with a tangy Bang Bang sauce and topped with the perfect amount of everything seasoning. Simply bake, sauce, and serve for the perfect appetizer, entree or an updated side.

Here’s how we do it!

1. Upon arrival, place the bang bang cauliflower in freezer until ready to prepare. This item is best cooked from frozen. All other items can be stored in the refrigerator.
2. Preheat your convection oven to 450°F (You may also use an air fryer or toaster oven, adjust accordingly.)
3. Place the battered cauliflower on a non-stick cookie try or spray with non-stick spray and bake for 9 minutes. Flip the cauliflower carefully through with a spatula and continue to cook for another 9 minutes.
4. Heat the Bang Bang Sauce in a small pan until it is just hot, a light simmer, NOT boiling.
5. Place the battered cauliflower in a large bowl.
6. Evenly drizzle the warm Bang Bang Sauce all over the Cauliflower. Toss or gently stir to coat evenly.
7. Place the Bang Bang Cauliflower on a plate, bowl or platter.
8. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.

PRO TIP: Overheating your Bang Bang Sauce will make the sauce too loose to stick to cauliflower, so be careful not to overheat it.
